Kévin Rémondière,
Licensed physiotherapist and sports coach, specializing in trail running and Hyrox preparation

Who I Am

My name is Kévin Rémondière, and I am a licensed physiotherapist and sports coach specializing in trail running and Hyrox preparation. Passionate about data and physical conditioning, I continuously train in areas such as hypertrophy science, exercise science, and muscle injury mechanisms.

I also have a parallel background in computer science, particularly in backend development and cybersecurity, which fuels my interest in precise and reliable tools.

From a sporting perspective, I have over 20 years of martial arts experience, along with trail races all across France, CrossFit, Hyrox, and even Basque strength events (such as the 80 kg load-carrying race).

A few personal benchmarks: a 54 km trail, a 2600 m elevation gain trail, a 32 km race, as well as 200 kg deadlift, 160 kg back squat, and 100 kg bench press.

Why I Chose ZoneX

ZoneX became an obvious choice: the device is simple to use while offering remarkable precision. The measurements are repeatable and reproducible, allowing me to track progress without approximation.

I also value the personalized training zone prescriptions, supported by AI, which provide recommendations based on solid scientific evidence.

How the Device Is Used

The process begins with a “cold” test session, either on the bike or treadmill, using the ZoneX protocol. We then move into a physiological optimization phase, which includes specific strengthening exercises and, for runners, a video analysis of their running technique.

A second “hot” test confirms the improvements.

At the end of this process, we obtain a precise identification of the fundamental endurance zone, the sweet spot, and a reliable VMA estimate.

How I Integrate ZoneX Into My Practice

I use ZoneX as a complement to my physiotherapy practice, both for active individuals and athletes looking to progress and perform at a higher level.

It’s a tool I integrate within the center to provide fine physiological profiling and optimize both training programs and return-to-sport processes.

Concrete Results — For Me and My Athletes

On a personal level, the results have been striking: my SV2 increased from 13.5 to 15.5 km/h, and my VMA from 18 to 19.5 km/h, in just two months. This was achieved thanks to precisely defined training zones that allowed me to better balance my weekly workload.

For my athletes, ZoneX is a real game changer: complete physiological profiling, more targeted training, more truly effective sessions, and accelerated progression.

We see better running quality, improved lactate clearance, and more efficient management of fatigue-based sessions—particularly for Hyrox athletes. And ultimately, faster race times across the board.
